Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

As someone who used to live in Japan and visited Kura several times while there, I have to say that this is a very authentic experience. Nice selection of dishes. Very tasty. Sushi is not just about slapping fish on a rice ball - the rice has to be a certain texture, temperature and size and this restaurant gets all three done quite well. This definitely filled my kaiten sushi craving until I go back to Japan!

Going into the restaurant, the hostess explained the concept of the restaurant. The revolving belt is always bringing around options to try. If you want something else or hot food, ordering on the touch screen is simple. All of the food was fresh, flavorful, and well-portioned (considering how many different plates are available to sample). I genuinely enjoyed every minute UNTIL the kitchen closed early and we couldn't order extra plates and ice cream. At first, the screen just said that the kitchen had too many orders in, and when the table beside us asked, we were informed the kitchen had closed. Our waitresses only reasoning the kitchen closed early was that it was a "slow day." I don't get why I should've been punished as a guest for a slow day. It was a lost revenue opportunity for this restaurant to operate this way. It's bad business, and it's ultimately why I'm not giving Kura 5 stars. TLDR: Food is good, but they close the kitchen early.

Neat atmosphere, loved the robot that delivers the drinks. Ordering was easy to figure out, the revolving sushi belt is super fun although we wanted to try a few items that continued to be empty as it rotated around so a little disappointing there. The hot foods and desserts arrive on a different belt that stops at your table. Everything was delicious and service from staff was great. Would go again.

Nice friendly service with a nice atmosphere. Love the seating design, which has lots of seats, but can also enjoy privacy as well! We had a very fun time to see the plates being transported around by the belt. We also had lots of fun putting the plates inside the plate slot for the nice surprise. My most favorite is the Bluefin Toro 😋 we ordered a couple of dishes although they took almost 20 mins to arrive.

I have been dying to try this place after seeing them all over social media and from a few people I follow on YouTube. This place is super trendy and if you like robots and playing games while you eat, what are you waiting for!? Very clean establishment with a very user friendly app for check in and getting points for your visit. A little more old school and don’t want to use the app? They have a simple touch screen at the door to reserve a table. The tables are spacious with a beautiful in reach revolving sushi conveyor belt. If you don’t see what you want, or if it is out on the line, just use the touch screen and your order will come directly to you within minutes. The fish was SO fresh! The rice was warm… I did have trouble with the rice holding together so each bite was a little tricky because it kept falling apart, however, the flavor was amazing and portions were generous, so it made up for the small inconvenience. Every month has a different theme, with the sushi selections and chance of prizes to be won for every 5 plates you order or select. I cannot wait to bring friends and enjoy this as a group. Amazing sushi with a true to fun nature Japan is known to create and explore.

It was an amazing experience with Kura Revolving Sushi Bar in Orlando, Florida! It's a fantastic spot to enjoy authentic Japanese conveyor sushi. The highlight was the adorable little robot Kurabot, delivering soft drinks right to your table. Whether you choose from the conveyor or order through the tablet, the food arrives promptly and tastes delicious. The place was immaculate, the sushi was wonderfully fresh, the selection was diverse, and the staff was exceptionally attentive. Honestly, I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this amazing experience! Highly recommend and will be visiting this place again! 🙌
